COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS

In order to compete under our team name we have requirements for the success, safety and logistics such as coaching and modifying training leading up to competition.

Minimum Requirements:

Must train for at least 6 months* minimum of training time

A minimum of 2 weeks of consistent training leading up to a competition

Consistent training is defined as a minimum of 3 classes per week (2 formal Gi or 2 NoGi class along with 1 open mat, NoGi can be trained at open mat as well)

A minimum of 3 weeks prior notification to coaches that you are planning on competing.

If any and all of these requirements are not met you will not have coaching coverage at tournaments and will have to register as independent and will not be permitted to compete under the team name.

While not mandatory, all competitors are encouraged to have a team patch when competing in the Gi.

The Why:

These guidelines are in place to make sure you are adequately prepared for competition for your own safety.

Also to allow adequate instruction coverage for classes that will be going on on the same day.

*Cumulative of 6 months, at an average of 2-3 days per week
