Prospective Students with Rank Above White Belt:
Policy for Prospective Students with Rank Above White Belt:
At Manchak Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, we uphold the integrity of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu lineage and the values of respect, loyalty, and sportsmanship. To ensure that all students represent legitimate and verifiable rank, the following policy applies to all prospective students seeking to train with us who hold a belt rank higher than white belt:
-
Verification of Rank and Lineage
-
Any prospective student with a rank above white belt must provide verifiable proof of their belt rank and instructor lineage from a recognized Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu affiliation.
-
If rank cannot be easily verified, the student may be required to remove their rank and train as a white belt.
-
If verification is not possible or there are concerns regarding authenticity, the student may be prohibited from training at our facility.
-
-
Good Standing with Previous Academy/Instructor
-
Students must be in good standing with their previous academy, team, or instructor.
-
If a student has left a previous academy under questionable circumstances, they must provide a reasonable explanation. Exceptions may be considered based on the nature of their departure.
-
-
Expectations of Conduct and Leadership
-
A student wearing a rank higher than white belt is seen as a leader and mentor within our academy.
-
All higher-ranked students must uphold good values and strictly adhere to Manchak Brazilian Jiu Jitsu’s policies and code of conduct.
-
Failure to meet these requirements may result in revocation of training privileges. This policy is in place to preserve the integrity of our academy, our team, and the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Competitive Success
Our team has a proven track record at every competitive level. We have competitive wins at almost every major submission grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu organization.
